Thanks for having us in.

It was great meeting Melanie and seeing 170 Rimrock Road up close, a genuinely multilingual, welcoming clinic that's clearly built real trust in the Downsview community. Everything on the next few pages comes out of that visit and the research we did afterward, not a generic template.

01 — What We Noticed

Two different websites, two different phone numbers.

We found dentalx.ca and dentalxddc.ca both live, both describing the same clinic at 170 Rimrock Road, but listing two different phone numbers, 416-630-9000 on one and 647-930-5602 on the other. That kind of inconsistency is exactly what search engines and AI systems use to judge how trustworthy a business's information is.

It's a quick fix, but until it's resolved, it's quietly working against the visibility you've already built.

02 — What We Noticed

Friday and Saturday both run two hours shorter.

Weekdays you're open until 7, but Friday and Saturday wrap at 5, and Sunday is closed entirely. That's a normal way to run a clinic, but it also means a predictable weekend window where a patient searching for a same-day appointment finds you online and gets no response until Monday.

By then, they've often already called the next name on the list.

03 — What We Noticed

Recall shouldn't rely on someone remembering to call.

Six-month cleanings, post-treatment check-ins after root canals or implants, that's a steady stream of recurring care across a clinic with your kind of patient volume. Right now that likely means someone on the front desk working down a list by hand.

It's necessary work, and it's also exactly the kind of task that quietly eats hours that could go toward the patients already in the chair.

These are our best guesses from the outside looking in. You'll tell us how close we got.

Two questions, two very different answers.

We didn't want to just tell you this, so we checked. We asked AI tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews who to book with, the same way a customer would.

This is a genuinely rare result. DentalX shows up clearly on both the broad North York search and the hyper-local Sheppard West Station search, which puts you ahead of most of the businesses we research. The real opportunity now isn't getting found, it's making sure that lead holds. The two-website mix-up is the kind of loose end that can quietly erode exactly this kind of advantage over time.

There's a compounding upside here too. A lead who found you through an AI answer instead of a map pin has usually already asked the follow-up questions, insurance, pricing, whether you actually treat their specific issue, before they ever pick up the phone.
